**** [FOUR STARS] In this amazing one-man show, Jonny McGovern flawlessly transforms himself into five distinct characters who cross paths in the end. Among these characters are Lurleen, a southern girl from a trailer park with stars in her eyes; Chocolate Puddin’, the old black lady who is out to get her; a shy boy in denial of his homosexuality; a gay pimp who takes over the boy’s body; and a drugged-up designer who brings everyone together in a world they never knew existed. Without costumes or scenery, McGovern skillfully draws you into each character as he sings, dances and makes great use of lighting and sound effects provided by his only accomplice, an onstage DJ.
